postheadericon Info: Back for now..

As you can see, site is back up. Comments are disabled for older posts,  and will be allowed only for new articles (yes :) there are going to be new articles).  We were under some heavy spam attack, in fact so fierce that our hosting provider had to shut down our site.  I’m seriously thinking about moving to another platform – like Joomla or Drupal.

Now lets put that aside for a moment. I hope I’ll manage to generate new content any time soon, cause Cataclysm has brought us new and fun things, that would be a shame for you guys to miss. Lets hope that there will be no more setbacks with the site, and that we will roll into new 2011 with all the bad things behind us, and only the good things ahead of us all!

If there is anything you want to say, feel free to Twitt me ;) http://twitter.com/#!/WoWFashionGuru

I think I owe You all an apologie.

Since end of July, everyone from editors team went to vacation, than all started to play alts and doing achievements before Cataclysm goes out, and somehow I didn’t realize I’m all on my own on WoW Fashion Guru.com.
That means no new articles, no mail replays, no spam deletes, no forum answers, no twitts . Meh.. Not even Vendor Crap Challenge has been done. So I’m apologizing to all readers, and promise to fix all that a.s.a.p.

/love u all

Did you ever wanted to be Miner, Librarian, Lumberjack (again), Swashbuckler (again), Beach Girl or Fisherman? If yes, Allyse from Saurfang (Oceanic PvE) has solved that problem for you. She decided to share some of the themed outfits (with potential high RP value) that any of us can use, or at least be inspired with.  Continue reading…

postheadericon Fashionist: When things go from bad to Nagrand

You all know that here at WoW Fashion Guru we try to stay positive all the time.  However there are times when you have to do what has to be done, no matter what. I received mail from 3 fans and in it, their fashion attempt was attached.  To put it mildly – all I could do with it is to use it as good example how things should not be done. If there was Fashion Police ingame, you guys would be arrested, trialled and locked for long time :) . Lucky for you there is no such thing as Azeroth Fashion Police.

postheadericon Level 1: It still counts (part II)

We are on the roll – thanks to input from our readers we are swarmed with ideas for the new articles. Contest is over, and I’d like to continue with two  very fashionable starting outfits; Blood Elf Warlock and Draenei Priest.

postheadericon Level 1: It still counts

We received lots of fan mail recently, and this one is proof that we might be on right track; Nikolai asked about “Level 1″ section, where possible combinations would be explored – starting outfits specially. Since there was plan to roll two new categories; Fashionist – where best fashion combinations for high level characters would be presented, and Level 1 – where we would try to find all the best for your L1 (banker or not), I think this is perfect theme to start with it.
