World of Warcraft Fashion Guru

You all know that here at WoW Fashion Guru we try to stay positive all the time.  However there are times when you have to do what has to be done, no matter what. I received mail from 3 fans and in it, their fashion attempt was attached.  To put it mildly – all I could do with it is to use it as good example how things should not be done. If there was Fashion Police ingame, you guys would be arrested, trialled and locked for long time . Lucky for you there is no such thing as Azeroth Fashion Police.

Before I continue, and you all start to hate me , let me say that I have written permission to “trash talk”  this fashion attempt. They allowed me to use them as bad example, and that is why they wish to remain anonymous. Can you blame them?

It all started so well …

Our fashion enlighten friends were doing some old quests, and stumbled upon very nice looking Watcher’s Tunic. After brief discussion, idea was born – they will go WoW Fashion Guru style , and build cool outfit around it.  They crafted Red Mageweave Pants and even managed to acquire  Well-Worn Bat (which they saw here).  But than things got bit “ugly”..

Than it went downhill …

Somehow they decided that blue/purple is needed, and generally I’d agree, but Windwalker’s Footwraps weren’t good choice. To add even more blue/purple  they grinded for Windwalker’s Sash and Mana Shaping Handwraps !

Here is my advice

- The Watcher’s Tunic already has 3 colors in it (black, orange & yellow), there is no need to go for 4th one. Just try to build something around those 3 .

- If unsure, use black color, as you can hardy make mistake with it.  Than you decided to use blue/purple color, which as mentioned before, works well with yellow and orange, but in this case you look more like parrot than fashion icon. You over-did it.

And to Nagrand …

At the end you decided to shoot video in Nagrand which is so green … My suggestion would be some place like Winterspring.
